An Indian navy plane giving off green colored smoke is seen performing aerobatics at an airshow along with other planes before it crashed into a building in Hyderabad, India. As a result, both the pilot and the copilot were killed and four people on the ground injuried.

"Pakistani soldiers leave a captured Taliban cave complex in Damadola. Seventy-five local and foreign militants were killed during an operation that resulted in the capture of a Taliban and al-Qaeda headquarters near the Afghan border. The underground complex, which took five to seven years to build, totaled 156 caves carved into sheer rock with a clear view of the snowcapped peaks in eastern Afghanistan."

Parrot seen in Abaco. About five centuries ago, Christopher Columbus reported that, "the song of the little birds might make a man wish never to leave here." The Abaco population is unique because it is the only ground nesting in the Western Hemisphere (Inagua parrots nest in tree cavities).
