Week 3

January 27, 2010- The Tribune

Blaze occured near Anatol Rodgers High School due to burning cars and other debris. No one was affected and the wind blew the smoke to the south of the school. The picture caught my attention because we can see the intensity of the smoke from the fire. If I had not seen this picture I never would have envisioned the blaze to this effect.

January 28, 2010 – USA TODAY

The IPAD was launched January 27, 2010. Technology continues to develop and each day it becomes more and more convenient. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs shows off the new IPAD, I like this picture because it’s always good to upgrade and stay on the ‘cutting edge’.

January 29, 2010 – Miami Herald

So far energy prices have fallen for 2010 hence affecting gas prices. This picture was taken at a gas station abroad. It is creative in the angle of which the picture was taken.

February 1, 2010 – The Tribune: Insight

Attempted christian burial weeks after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The ceremony was performed by three Bishops; incense burned and holy water sprinkled on the bodies. This picture is intense because it shows the mass burial actually taking place and it is heart breaking how the bodies are exposed the environment.

February 3, 2010- The Guardian

A fire ignited this car due to overheating. This is very dangerous; the picture opened my eyes to be cautious with ANY car problems.
